About Jethro

Jethro Heiko has 30 years of experience exploring the transformative power of grieving. Since his beloved father, Lance, died of cancer when Jethro was still in college, he has dedicated his life to the exploration of the various facets of the human experience with deep loss. And, he has come to understand the influence that grief, grieving and grievance have on politics, policy, and society.

Jethro lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Chelsea, their two kids, Orson and Hazel, and two dogs, Petra and Rue. He is a mushroom forager and community food forestry enthusiast. He works at reparationWorks as the reparationCommons Design Lead.
